March 6, 1942

Ed Brown sent his car down and picked me up. I had dinner with him, gave his Unit a lecture at night, and spent the evening with him. Was driven home by two of his boys who did not know the road – we finally landed in Brighton – then Eastbourne and arrived home at 2:30 a.m. Had a swell evening.
