June 8, 1942

Last night had to go into Newport for further examination on a man we had killed with a Tank on the 5th of June. Today I attended the inquest, and was very surprised to be handed a medical fee of one pound eleven shillings and six pence. This morning we had a demonstration of all vehicles and shooting, tomorrow will have the same. Saw Bob Paton today. This afternoon I lectured to two companies of XIth Field Ambulance and demonstrated to them out sling methods of extraction of casualties from Tanks. We go to scheme with them on Wednesday.
