June 11, 1942

Loaded on T.L.C. 304 at Osborne Beach at 2 p.m. – twelve T.L.C. loaded. We were on with H.Q. Squadron. Sailed at 9 p.m. down the Solent. John Begg and I slept on stretchers on T.P.C. at 6:45 a.m. Made an invasion on a beach at Bridport – went through defences with Infantry and advanced on town. We went up centre line with “B” Squadron. On Scram – returned to stockade in front of Chas. Page Tank – landed on T.L.C. 302 – Bob Taylor had our Tank aboard. Sailed back during the night.
