July 15, 1942

Resume the old line of work in Seaford – first sick parade in two months. Jim (Furman) and I drove to Burgess Hill to see Major Noble of the Ordinance. He is helping me build a couple of ambulances specially fitted for our own work. One half the Unit are going on seven days leave tomorrow. We hope to go one week later, but have not made up my mind just where to go.
