First scheme completed, have to wait here until Monday for the second and last scheme, which is with 1st Div.

    Stackpole Court was pulled down in 1963. It had been requisitioned during WW2 as accommodation for Castlemartin range. Soldiers stripping lead from the roof were blamed for damage that ended with the demolition.

      Now that is interesting and rather sad, as well. I can understand the lead for lead but stripping it from that great house! Decline and fall of a great house indeed.
