All of A-Squadron of the Calgary Regiment and three troops of C-Squadron remain in TLCs off the coast of Dieppe as the order is given for the tank crews on the beach ordered to evacuate. A member of the crew on one tank responds “I still have ammunition left, why the hell would I burn my tank?”
