Sept. 11, 1942

4 a.m. Reveille – breakfast at 5 a.m. and the convoy moved out at 6 a.m. At 8:30 a.m. John, Poopdeck and I started out for Reading. John and Poop went on to London. I stopped at the Fords. Had a nice quiet visit.
