Sept. 21, 1942

Frenchy Fontaine drove me over to East Grinstead after the afternoon lecture. I visited Col. Stuart at the 5th C.C.S. and then phoned Ed Brown’s Unit, only to find him out on a scheme. I was only 4 or 5 miles from his place.
