Feb. 1 & 2, 1943

Feb. 1 First day of course completed. Lectures began at 10 a.m. at Hammersmith Hosp., attended mostly by Canadian and American Medical Officers. There are about four Officers present who I have know before. The Course is given by a Mr. Knight and is deeper than the very old devil. Will have to study today’s work a whole lot tonight

Feb. 2 Ralph arrived in – had to stay over night, so I changed my room and got a room with twin beds and let him sleep with me. I am just ready for bed – have had a very heavy day and have been studying all evening – am ready to hit the hay. Wonderful lectures this morning and rotten this afternoon.
