May 28 – June 1, 1945

May 28 — Ronnie went to Zielst for a few days of holiday.

May 30 — Corps Medical meeting at 6 Gen. Hosp. Very good too. In the evening I went over to dinner at Corps Sigs with Paul Laird. My orders are still very indefinite. I don’t know whether I am going on the next draft or not.

June 1/45 — Both yesterday and today we have been getting ready for the big inspection on the 2nd. Claire Ashlee returned from 21 FDS and left this morning for England, en route to Canada.
